Miranshah, Pakistan (Reuters) - A U.S. drone aircraft fired two missiles into Pakistan's North Waziristan region on the border with Afghanistan on Wednesday, killing at least three militants, Pakistani intelligence officials and residents said.

The strike targeted a stronghold of the Haqqani network, a major Taliban group to attack Western troops across the border in Afghanistan.
