New Delhi: The Indian Premier League has dismissed Ravindra Jadeja appeal against a ban from the tournament in order to discuss an agreement with another franchisee without having to renew its existing agreement with the Rajasthan Royals.
According to a report in the Hindustan Times, BCCI president Shashank Manohar heard Jadeja appeal on Sunday, presented by IPL vice-chairman and Saurashtra Cricket Association chief Niranjan Shah.
Jadeja’s all-round rule was an important factor in their title achievement. And despite a devastating campaign last year, Jadeja was one of the bright spots; add incredible to respectability sorry batting card.
According to CricInfo, IPL vice-chairman Niranjan Shah raised the issue of falling the ban on Jadeja with BCCI president Shashank Manohar on Saturday in Mumbai, but his appeal was deprived of.
“He (Manohar) will not set a model wrong, so he refused the request. Jadeja so now you can not play in IPL,” an IPL official said.
