Heroes of Might & Magic is back for a sixth series, as announced by Ubisoft during Gamescom yesterday.The title, which will be a turn based game with elements of RPG, is being developed by Black Hole Entertainment.

Might & Magic VI will take place 400 years before the events of the last title, revolving around “a family of heroes in a thrilling, epic story where Angels plot to revive an unfinished war.

Microsoft just announced Age of Empires Online and Microsoft Flight for Games for Windows and part of its gamescom push.These two are joined in the PC line-up by Lionhead’s Fable III, which was announced for the platform back in May.

Age of Empires Online will allow players to “embark on quests along the way, alone or with friends, and immerse yourself in epic tales, quirky characters, adventure, history and strategy.”You’ll start off with a Greek civilisation in the game, and it grow into an empire.

Activision has announced that an exclusive gold colored Classic Controller Pro will be bundled with the Classic Edition of the upcoming Goldeneye 007 game for the Nintendo Wii.

The game will support the Wiimote, Nunchuck, along with the Wii Zapper, while the Classic Controller is touted to offer shooter fans a familiar control scheme.

"Rage quitting" is more or less the online video game equivalent of a player taking his or her ball and going home. A rage quitter tends to drop out of a multiplayer game in the middle of a session because of frustration or what he or she perceives as an impending loss. The practice is highly irritating for the team that's left at a severe disadvantage with a player short.

Bungie recognizes that rage quitting is a widespread problem, and spoils the fun for legitimate players.
